The event organized by the BREAST CANCER ACTION FUND (BCA Fund) in collaboration with the HELLENIC MIGRATION POLICY INSTITUTE (IMEPO) on Thursday 15 May at Ecali Club was very successful. The purpose of the event was to provide medical information to the Fund’s members and friends by the Oncology and Vascular Surgeon S. N. Georgiannos, M.D., Ph.D. on “Breast Cancer: Diagnostic and Therapeutic Developments“. Guests attended the first official presentation of the BCA Fund music theme, composed and performed by the internationally-known Greek composer Stefanos Korkolis on the piano.

The event was greeted by Mrs. Aspasia Leventis, President of the BCA Fund, and Mr. Alexandros Zavos, President of IMEPO. Guests received a special book, written by Dr. S. N. Georgiannos, comprising specialised medical information about the heredity of the disease and the modern diagnostic and therapeutic developments, printed especially for this event.
Guests attended the first official presentation of the BCA Fund music theme, composed and performed by Stefanos Korkolison the piano. The very moving evening was embellished with texts read by top actresses Karyofyllia Karambeti andKaterina Didaskalou, followed by a performance of the world-known soprano Sonia Theodoridou, who entertained the audience until the conclusion of the evening.
